Dr. Karolina Pelt is a board-certified orthodontic specialist dedicated to providing personalized, exceptional care.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Georgia, where she studied abroad in Argentina. During an internship at a public health clinic, she gained valuable experience serving diverse patient populations, strengthening her commitment to community care. Combined with positive memories of her own orthodontic treatment as a teenager, this experience inspired her path into dentistry.
Dr. Pelt received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University in May 2015. She was honored with the Alpha Upsilon Phi Award for service and leadership and the Mark Ritz Research Scholarship for her research on cancer stem cells in head and neck cancers. She remained in Augusta to complete a 30-month orthodontic residency and earned her certificate of specialization.
In 2018, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This certification reflects her commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and delivering the highest standard of orthodontic care.
Raised in the metro Atlanta area, she is a proud Georgia Peach 🍑. Family remains central to her life, and she enjoys being close to loved ones in the Atlanta area. Outside the office, she enjoys travel, tennis, live music, and exploring new restaurants with her husband. She feels fortunate to wake up each day excited to practice a profession she truly loves.
